A Sampling of Programs We Offer
Making
your work fit in your life, not the other way around!
In this workshop we will explore our personal
motivators and get back in touch with ways to recharge, relax, and reconnect to the work and life you want. Participants will leave with strategies and tools that are specific to the demands of nonprofit managers
and the unique professional and personal demands we juggle.
Understand how individuals construct their own reality and how to connect better in the workplace
“What do you mean you didn’t do
(insert your own answer here)?!” Every manager has that employee you just don’t understand.
What is he/she thinking? What motivates him/her? In
this workshop you will learn to understand what motivates your team members, what influences their decisions, shapes their
attitudes, and ultimately determines job satisfaction. Participants will use
basic personality assessment tools that can be used with your team to help create deeper respect and understanding.
Effectively Communicating Performance Expectations
We all
have expectations as managers about how our staff should behave and do their work. Often
as managers, it is challenging to communicate those expectations in a way that will actually result in change. Find out how to get those ideas from your head to your staff in a way that is healthy and effective, and
focus on people not performance reviews.
Non-profit
Triage
A candid discussion with fellow non-profit professionals on ways to stay sane,
stay focused and manage workplace stressors. We invite entry-level workers and experienced nonprofit managers to come share
what has worked for them to stay balanced, effective, and inspired while facing the daily challenges of working in the nonprofit
sector.
Managers Group
A weekly or monthly interactive
session for managers. Solutions and answers for everyday management questions and challenges. Meet other nonprofit managers, build community, share your struggles, learn about different styles of management,
and other topics determined by the group participants.
